We also got together for a 60th birthday celebration.

We had a fantastic weekend in this fabulous house with stunning views and bright winter sunshine.

Thankyou Amanda for recommending Hayden & Shane who cooked a fabulous meal for 9 on Saturday.

We also had a private viewing of Lamorran Gardens along the road and afternoon tea at Tresanton – both thoroughly worth a visit.

House worked well for our adult family ranging in age from 27-84 across 3 generations.

Certainly hope to return soon.

A wonderful week with the whole family celebrating my 60th birthday. The house is lovely and the weather has been amazing.

We visit this area every year and highly recommend The Atlantic Fryer – mobile fish & chips at Portscatho on Tuesday and Friday evenings.

Don’t want to leave and can’t wait to return.

How can you squeeze a birthday (or two!), a Burns night, a relaxing weekend, a fun filled, memorable and unforgettable time into one place?

Easy! Book Moonrakers.

Simply the most stunning views, perfectly set, beautifully laid out and furnished any of us have ever seen. We partied hard, put the more in St Mawes and now back to reality.

We just couldn’t cope if this was reality… what would we dream about?

The views are unrivalled and we hope to return as soon as possible. The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen. We enjoyed a fantastic NYE with friends, full of merriment and champagne. Thankyou for the scones and condiments, they were well received by all. The games room, TVs and table tennis table were all well used and enjoyed.

The location is a real asset of the property – merely minutes from the shops, cafes and the harbour, where despite almost freezing temperatures, we managed a swim on New Years Day.

The view of the sun rising over the estuary will not be forgotten. Thank you again, we hope to be back soon.

This house is special. Not only because it has the most stunning, life affirming views ( in all weather rain or shine) , or because it’s as comfy and treating as a fancy hotel with the easy going-ness of a good friends house – but because it has a wonderful energy that helps bond a bunch like nobodies business. We were a large group ranging from 4 to 70 years of age and we all got on like a house on fire!
Do book the beauty treatments – the holistic massage with Sarah and Reflexology with Alex is superb.
A night of private dining care of Kalouras Kitchen is well worth it. Delicious food brought to you and served like you are in a fab restaurant took the edge off self catering beautifully.
Also recommended is a scone at The Idle Rocks in St Mawes. Another fabulous view close to the action.
