  • Trewarren

Welcome to Trewarren: A Coastal Haven with Panoramic Views.

    Sleeps up to 8.

Trewarren stands as a modern masterpiece against the stunning backdrop of St Anthony’s lighthouse and the Carrick Headlands. Trewarren is located on a peaceful terrace; only footsteps away lies Tavern Beach and Hotel Tresanton, making the house an ideal retreat for guests seeking both serenity, sophisticated dining, and seaside charm.

The house is only a few minutes walk to the village shops, pubs, restaurants and St Mawes harbour, where guests can catch the ferry to Falmouth to enjoy an eclectic mix of shops, cafes and bars, galleries along cobbled streets and visit the National Maritime Museum.

    Breathtaking Sea Views
Trewarren has been designed to take full advantage of the magnificent uninterrupted views out to sea and of the Carrick headlands and St Anthony’s lighthouse. The luxury sitting room, dining room and kitchen are positioned on the first floor, and all rooms lead out on to an extensive decked terrace and balcony that wraps around the house.

The tastefully designed kitchen is fully equipped with everything a master chef and sommelier would need for entertaining family and friends. The kitchen is hand made locally by The Rozen Workshop of Helston. Miele appliances include two wall ovens, warming drawer, a microwave, induction hob, wine cooler, and fridge freezer with ice. A Quooker boiling water tap is installed.

Flowing seamlessly from the kitchen is the dining room. It has furniture by Neptune, and floor-to-ceiling French doors on to the wrap around balcony, that frame unforgettable views over the sea.

The living room and kitchen are conveniently located with direct access on to the first floor terrace filled with comfortable sofas for relaxing with coffee or a glass of wine and simply watching the boats sailing by or reading a book.  There is also a dining table and chairs for guests to sit and enjoy alfresco dining. Beautiful parasols are carefully set on the terrace to protect guests from the sun rays when needed.

    Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The bedrooms are beautifully presented. Comfortable beds with White Company bedding make for a good nights sleep. Three of the four bedrooms at Trewarren feature a king sized bed, and the fourth bedroom features a super king sized bed which can be split into two single beds. Bedroom 1 has en suite bathroom with a bath and a separate walk in shower. Bedroom 2 has ensuite shower room. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share an ensuite shower room. All bath/shower rooms have underfloor heating for winter, a heated towel rail, Molton Brown bath products, and bespoke ‘waffle cotton’ bath robes.

Next door to the bedrooms there is a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and a fridge. The room has also been thoughtfully set up with a Nespresso machine and kettle and tea service for guests to easily prepare themselves with an early morning cup of tea or coffee.

    Games & Chill Out Room
Leading from the laundry room, the owners have created a ‘games and chill out’ room. The space has been decorated and lit very effectively to achieve a relaxed ‘club’ vibe that will particularly appeal to younger guests and the ‘young at heart’! It features a Cornilleau Competition Pro table tennis table, a Sonos sound system and two comfortable chairs for viewing the game with a glass of wine!

    Trewarren GardenExterior
Trewarren is surrounded by lawns, terracing, and a sunken garden. By night, cleverly designed lighting transforms the entire garden into a magical tropical paradise.

Being south facing, the vibrant Cornish sunshine is captured throughout the day. Inspired by the Mediterranean, the terraced garden is a vibrant tapestry of azaleas and subtropical foliage, rockeries, mature olive trees, and manicured lawns. It’s a private oasis that offers space and privacy for guests to relax.

Trewarren boasts a private gated driveway with parking for three cars, including a charging port for electric cars. The property is not only a feast for the senses but also considers modern needs and sustainability.

    Extra Special Features
All rooms feature recessed Collingwood down lights on dimmer switches. The switches can be set by guests to the preferred level, be it day or night. Concealed LED lighting in the lounge, dining room and kitchen, together with numerous table lamps, further enhance the ambience that can be controlled by guests.

High speed broadband internet and Wi-fi is installed throughout the property. All rooms have USB A and USB C sockets for mobiles and tablets.

A Sonos sound system is installed in all four bedrooms, the lounge, dining area, kitchen, and games & chill out room. Guests can connect their mobiles or tablets to the system.

Flat screen Samsung  ‘smart’ TV’s are wall mounted all principal rooms. Sky Q satellite TV can be viewed in three rooms simultaneously. It is installed in four rooms:  the two double bedrooms, the lounge, and the dining area / kitchen.
